You cannot delete Instagram direct messages from within the Sprinklr platform due to an API limitation, so you must delete them natively through the Instagram app or website. To delete a message or chat from both sides of the conversation, you must use the "Unsend" option in the native Instagram app for messages you've sent. If you try to delete a message in Sprinklr and it fails, it's a platform limitation, not a glitch; delete the message directly on Instagram instead. 

How to Delete a Message or Chat on Instagram (Natively)

• Open the Instagram app or website: and go to your Direct Messages. 
• Find the conversation: you want to delete the message from. 
• Tap and hold: the message you want to remove. 
  

Choose an option:

• Unsend: Deletes the message from both your chat and the recipient's chat. This only works if the recipient hasn't opened it yet. 
• Delete for you: Deletes the message only from your own chat, while it remains visible to the other person. 

To delete an entire conversation, go back to your inbox, tap and hold the conversation, then select "Delete" to confirm.
