I found an easier solution.
As i said before I have the case IDs to be changed. on the advanced search, I can add the case number and select only those ones - so I'm sure I'm only applying changes to those - and after applying a macro or even editing specific fields directly.Thanks

Hi Joana,
I connected with the product team. Here are a couple of ways you can achieve it;
1. You could try and add them in a column if these case ids have one specific unique common property. If so, then you can select the whole column and apply the macro to all at the same time.2. A rule is also another way to automate these but there would need to be a certain specific property or collection of properties among these cases so that the rule can pick these up and update them - if such a collection is absent, then it is difficult to automateHope this helps. - J

@jay i have a list of the case IDs that I want to re-classify field 5. any way to use this info to perform my task?
