Workflow column for dark post
Hello community,
since macros are not applied as expected in Facebook column workflows -eg I have an IG dark post comment -> macro "closed" -> the comment stays in both initial column and "closed" column and can be misleading -
I've been adviced to create a workflow column instead.
First I've created this rule:
Secondly the queue for Dark posts:
Finally a workflow column in my Engagement Dashboard:
Can I expect to see a fan comment ONLY in "closed" once this workflow runs properly?

Hey there! So it looks like, you should see the fan comment in “Closed” if your rule explicitly sets a Workflow Status = Closed (or equivalent close action).
You will not see it only in “Closed” if the rule only adds it to a partner queue named “closed” but leaves the workflow status as New / Open / In Progress. In that case, the comment can still appear in other open workflow columns.
If this is not what you were expecting, consider this:
Dark Post rule includes both:
Add to Partner Queue: Dark Posts – closed messages
Set Workflow Status: Closed (or your closed status)
